Crispy Plantain Chips


Plantains - 2
Salt
Chilli Powder - 1/4 tsp
Turmeric - a pinch
Peanut Oil for deep frying

Peel the plantains and cut them into thin circular slices. The thinner the slices, the crispier the chips turn out.


Mix salt, chilli powder, turmeric to the slices and keep them aside for a few minutes.

Deep fry in batches on medium low heat till they turn light golden brown.

Drain on paper towel to remove excess oil.
