Almond Date Cherry Smoothie




Frozen Cherries - 1 cup
Ripe Banana - 1 (preferably sliced and frozen)
Almond Flour - 6 tbsp.
Water - 1 to 2 cups
Mejdool Dates - 6, deseeded


Blend everything together in a high speed blender for 30 seconds and serve immediately.

Strawberry Banana Almond Smoothie









Frozen Strawberries - 1 cup
Ripe Banana - 1 (preferably sliced and frozen)
Almond Flour - 6 tbsp.
Water - 1 to 2 cups
Mejdool Dates - 6, deseeded


Blend everything together in a high speed blender for 30 seconds and serve immediately.

Kale Berry Almond Smoothie





Kale Leaves - 1 cup
Home-made Almond Milk -1 to 2 cups or mix 6 tbsp of blanched almond powder with a cup of water
Frozen Mixed Berries - 1 cup ( I used frozen blueberries and cherries)
Mejdool Dates - 6
Honey - a drizzle
Serves 2

Blend everything together in Vitamix for 30 seconds and serve immediately.

Peach Strawberry Almond Smoothie




Slivered Almonds - 1/3 cup
Water - 1 cup

Frozen Banana - 1, (slice a ripe banana and freeze it for a few hours)
Ripe Peaches - 2, pitted and sliced (preferably frozen for a few hours)
Frozen Strawberries - 6
Raw Honey - 2 tsp.

Soak the almonds in water overnight. Blend along with the soaked water in a high speed blender like vitamix till milk like consistency. Do not strain.

Add slices of frozen banana, peaches, strawberries, honey to the almond milk and blend till smooth. Serve immediately. These smoothies are very thick and can be served as a soft serve ice-cream.

Spicy Lemonade




Large Lemons - 2
Raw Honey - 2 to 4 tbsp, depending on how sweet you want the drink
Roasted Cumin Seeds - 1/2 tsp
Pomogranate Seeds - 1/2 tsp
Fresh Mint Leaves - a few, chopped
Rock Salt - 1/4 tsp
Cold Water - 3 cups

Squeeze the lemon juice and keep aside.

Using a mortar and pestle, pound cumin seeds, pomegranate seeds, mint leaves, rock salt together to make a coare paste.

Add to the lemon juice. Mix with chilled water. Add desired quantity of raw honey. Serve
immediately.

Pina Colada Smoothie




Light Coconut Milk - 3/4 cup
Frozen Pineapple Chunks - 3/4 cup
Banana - 1 small, cut into chunks and frozen
Raw Honey - 1 tsp
Ground Flax Seeds - 1 tsp
Ice Cubes - 3

Serves one

Blend everything together in vitamix for 30 seconds. Serve immediately.

Raspberry and Mixed Fruit Smoothie




Frozen Raspberries - 1/2 cup
Whole Orange - 1
Whole Apple - 1
Kiwi - 1
Banana - 1
Homemade Cashew Milk / Almond Milk - 3/4 cup
A few cubes of Ice
Honey - 1 tbsp

Serves 2

Blend everything together in Vitamix for 30 seconds and serve immediately.

Nimbu Paani / Lemonade




Lemon - 2,  big and juice ones
Honey - 2 tbsp
Salt - a pinch
Cold Water - 3 cups

Squeeze the lemon juice and sieve to remove the pits. Add honey, salt and mix well. Add 3 cups of water to the mixture. Divide into 2 glasses and serve immediately.

Raspberry Smoothie


Frozen Organic Raspberries - 12 oz
Greek Yogurt - 2 tbsp
Golden Flaxseed Meal - 2 tsp
Orange Juice / Milk / Water - 1/2 cup
Maple Syrup - 4 tsp

Makes 2 glasses

Blend all the above together in a blender till smooth. Serve immediately.

Mango Lassi

Serves 2

Mangoes - 2, small sized, peeled and diced and chilled in the refrigerator
Greek Yogurt - 2 cups
Whole Milk - 1/2 cup, cold
Turbinado Sugar / Raw Honey - 2 tbsp
Crushed ice - 1/2 cup

Blend all the ingredients together in a blender till smooth and frothy. Serve immediately.

Masala Lassi

Cold Greek Yogurt - 2 cups
Cold Whole Milk - 1/4 cup
Crushed Ice cubes - 4
Sugar - 2 tbsp
Rock Salt - a pinch
Roasted Cumin Powder - 1 tsp
Mint Leaves - 2 leaves, shredded

Mix everything together and blend in a blender till smooth and frothy. Serve immediately.

Frozen mixed berries - 1 cup
Fat free yoghurt - 1 cup
Honey - 1 tbsp
Crushed ice - 1 cup
